René Lalique began creating his perfume
bottles with the Coty firm in 1907. Since then Lalique's become known for
innovating, elegance and incredible designs of over 250 perfume bottles.
Lalique designed these bottles for Maison Lalique as well as the
finest perfumers, D'Orsay, Guerlain, Houbigant,
Worth, Rogeret et Gallet, and many others.
Lalique's designs in perfume bottles have been in numerous
exhibitions around the world
in museums in France, Germany, Japan, and the U. S. René Lalique perfume
bottles are often sold at auction with the highest price realized at over
$80,000 in 1990. Most are much much less.
I've also lent my personal "Lalique Collection" to a special exhibition
of René Lalique perfume bottles held at Christies in New York City it contains
a catalogue on my "Lalique Perfume Collection." It is also available for
